General Information

Background

Campden Hill Court is an old and distinctive building which is located in a historic and protected part of Kensington.  This means that maintenance and refurbishment are not always straightforward.  Residents come from all over the world and have different backgrounds and cultures.  For these reasons, various sets of guidelines have been prepared to help all residents to enjoy living at Campden Hill Court and to assist owners who wish to make alterations to their flats.

Renting an apartment

Those who are considering renting apartments at Campden Hill Court may find it helpful to be aware of the steps which need to be completed before a tenancy can be finalised.

  • Incoming tenants are asked to provide character references from previous landlords.
  • They are also asked to sign the guidelines for living at Campden Hill Court (known as the house regulations) to indicate that they accept them.
  • These documents must be provided to the managing agent before new rental tenants move in.

Removals

Campden Hill Court provides an advice sheet for residents and potential residents about removals.  This covers selection of removal firms, necessary advance notifications, and arrangements on the days of the removal.  The full advice sheet can be read at [insert link].

The estate manager will be happy to advise and assist those moving into and out of the building both before and, as appropriate, during moves.

Guidelines for residents

Campden Hill Court also has guidelines for residents.  These are known as the house regulations and cover various aspects of living in the block, including security arrangements, neighbours, collection of rubbish, parking and pets.

The full set of guidelines can be read at [insert link].

On-site services

The estate manager and his team are the first point of contact for residents on all day-to-day questions and queries.  They can organise newspaper and milk deliveries and laundry and dry cleaning.  The reception desk will accept parcels and packages for residents.  The estate manager also maintains a list of reliable contractors, who have experience of working at Campden Hill Court, and can advise on local services and amenities.
